Botony with Kent Wildlife Trust

Last Thursday night I was lucky enough to be part of a Botony Plant Identification course run by The Kent Wildlife Trust: https://www.kentwildlifetrust.org.uk

A 10 week course held at Canterbury Christ Church University in Canterbury, Kent.

I had such a splendid first class and thought I'd share some of the chickweed photos I took when we were looking at it under a microscope.

It's always lovely to look at things in a different way. A lot of the details you see in the photos such as the hairs are not very visible with the naked eye on such a small plant. It was truly fascinating.
