Live Mindfully with yourself

Life can be hard and we can be even harder in ourselves. When I think about some of the things I say to myself it makes me shiver. If I were to talk to my friends and family the way I talk to myself then I literally wouldn’t have any friends or family.

So, I made a decision to be mindful with myself. To not let my fears and insecurities define who I am. Here are my top 3 tips for being more mindful with me.

1: Speak kind words. When I talk to myself and tell myself I can’t do sometching or I’m not good enough I stop myself and change it to more positive language. Because you can and you are good enough.

2: Self care. We are a world of doers. Constantly running around doing and creating and building. Sometimes we have to take a regular time out to just be us and look after ourselves. Let the stress melt away for a time and then when we are recharged we can get back out there.

3: Have a daily boost routine. I like to have a daily routine that gives me a little boost. This is only a 15-20 minute routine but it sets me up for the day. 10mins of meditation, 5mins deep breathing and 5mins of gratitude. It’s simple and effective.

I hope these tips can help you to create a more mindful environment to live in. They are simple yet effective tips that if done regularly can help you to feel like the best version of you.
